About Me
I am based in the Cayman Islands and been teaching yoga for about 7 years and practicing it for 14 years. I am a certified RYT 500 yoga instructor. I received my RYT 200, basic training, from Exhale Studio in Manhattan, NY and RYT 300, advanced training, from Jared McCann at Lighthouse Yoga School, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY.
My yoga journey began in NYC in 2008. I fell in love with the yoga style, charisma and physical prowess of my first yoga teacher, Ruah Bhay. Her classes challenged me both physically and mentally and presented an opportunity for growth. I had never been flexible despite practicing modern dance since my teenage years. While my body naturally developed strength and tone with relative ease, I struggled to even come close to touching my toes. I started practicing yoga at 27 and since than my body got more flexible than I have ever been. I found the tools with breath, focus, proper technique and warm up to open up my prior very tight body and come to a next level of my own yoga practice.
Yoga became my physical and spiritual teacher. It helped me to find emotional and physical balance and gave me great tools on how to be more in-tuned with myself and take care of physical health. Now, I am grateful to share my knowledge and experience with my amazing students.
